“The Lord loves a cheerful giver.”

“You give but little when you give of your possession, but when you give of yourself that you truly give.” — Gibran: The Prophet

“It is not enough to give the message, you have to be the message.” -Les Brown

Life of Service to others is the essence of life. Ego stops us from being our true selves to living our best life. Change your perception, instead of being a Go-Getter, be a Go-Giver.

The success of our lives is directly related to the quality and quantity of the service that we give to others.” -Pierre

What differentiates the rich from the poor is the value and impact they brought in life with their service.

My favorite prayer

I want God to use me,

I want to give more,

I want to share more,

Be an expression of Love,

Be an instrument of Hope,

To encourage our youth,

To recreate their future,

I am grateful for Life,

I am grateful for being here,

I am grateful to able to serve.

The Story of Booker T. Washington (1856–1915), the greatest Black American Educator.

I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. — Booker T. Washington

One day he was well dressed walking around the neighborhood and a white lady came to the door and said, Hey, you? He stopped and said politely, Yes, mom! She said, come here. He went and said, What can I do for you mom?

She said I want you to cut my wood. He took his coat off and cut the wood. She said take them to the fireplace. He did that and after he finished, she asked him; What do I owe you? He replied, nothing mom. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Then he left walking on the streets his coat on his shoulder.

Then her maid came up and tell the lady, Do you know who that was? She said, no. The maid said, that’s the greatest Black Educator, Booker T. Washington. She looked at the window and asks the maid, go after him.

She contribute millions of dollars to his dream of building an institution of higher learning, known as Tuskegee University in 1881, and the school went on to become one of the leading schools in the country.
